However, we understand that there may be times when returns or refunds are necessary. Our return process is designed to be straightforward and fair, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
Conditions for Returns
We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products. Items must be returned in new or slightly used condition and in their original packaging. You can request a return or exchange within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement. How to Initiate a Return
To start the return process, please contact our customer service team at info@doorsuk.com or call us at +44 333 344 7475 within 30 days of receiving your order. Once your return is approved, we will issue you a Return Authorisation (RMA) number and provide further instructions. The RMA form must be completed within 24 hours, and the RMA number should be clearly displayed on the return package.
Return Methods & Shipping Instructions
You can return items either:
- In-store: Visit our showroom at 56 Market Street, Crewe,Cheshire East, CW1 2EX, United Kingdom.
- By mail: Ensure that the item is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit. Include all original parts and documentation.
Please note that return shipping labels are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or damaged. We recommend using a fully insured and trackable shipping method as you are responsible for the return until it reaches us.
Handling Defective or Damaged Items
If your product is defective or damaged, report it within 24 hours of receiving the item. To expedite the process, please include images of the damage. Depending on the situation, we will either provide a replacement or a refund.
Product Condition & Return Window
- Product Condition: Returned items must be in new or slightly used condition, ideally with all original packaging and components.
- Return Window: Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
Restocking Fees & Extended Returns
For returns beyond the 30-day window, we may accept returns on a case-by-case basis. These returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the product price. The details will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding with the return.
Processing Refunds & Cancellations
Refunds are processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item. The refund will be made to the original payment method, but please allow up to 14 days for the refund to appear in your account.
Order cancellations must be made in writing within 30 days of delivery.
Responsibility for Return Shipping
- Change of Mind: If you decide to return an item due to a change of mind, return shipping costs are your responsibility. The product should be returned in a new or slightly used condition, preferably in the original packaging.
- Faulty or Damaged Goods: If the product is faulty or damaged, DoorsUK will cover the return shipping costs. We may offer a replacement first; if a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
Non-returnable Items
Customised, bespoke, or special-order items are generally non-returnable unless they are faulty or damaged. In such cases, exceptions may be made, or store credit for future purchases may be offered.
